Stick to playing with the doll. The generic HI Barbies and lack of a better plot was enough to make me sink into a snooze fest. Save your popcorn and ticket money on this one and if your having difficulty falling asleep play it before bedtime. Thank me later.

This was a total waste of time. Definitely operated. It starts off good and than all of a sudden your lost with meaningless fighting scenes and distracting scenarios that never tie in. I kept asking myself What the is going on? Nothing made sense at all. I have been watching movies since forever and this movie had no plot, depth or purpose. If it was supposed to bring clarity about the metaverse than it failed. No scene lasted long enough to fully develop that concept. Save your money and time. I miss Siskel and Ebert, we need some real movie critics who are going to be honest about the lack of great scripts this generation is left with. Poor writing which leaves actors with mediocre roles. Great storyline with a heartfelt depiction of family values. I enjoyed the character development and thought it was well written. It's a story about love, a dream and the beauty of never giving up hope. I believe it was one of the best films in 2022.

I would not say this is Oscar worthy. It was an average movie at best. Due to the low quality of films being produced lately than I guess if competition is scarce there is no choice but to nominate from a poor selection. The plot was mediocre. I kept waiting for a mystery to splve or a who dun moment or some suspense but I was left unfortunately disappointed.

A watered down attempt to try to mimic a West Side Story vibe. After the singing and dancing its difficult to follow the actual storyline. I gave up watching in the middle of the movie. It is highly overrated just like La La Land was. I give it a thumbs down and a pillow emoji. Only thing good about it was that I saved myself a trip to the theater and was able to watch at home.
