I adore Helen Mirren, but these series fail. Great costumes and good acting. Far too much time is spent on sex in the hallways, behind the doors, etc. Serious fluff series... About Potemkin’s eye patch: He had lost his eye and wore an eye patch. In episode 3 he has no patch and his eye is miraculously grown back, looking absolutely healthy. Can someone enlighten me on the incredible “medical procedure” that would have restored Potemkin’s eye and his vision? Or, perhaps handsome Potemkin-the-actor lost the eye patch during filming and figured no one would notice? I thought it was hysterically funny. Did you?
