It's a fairytale like film like the Aquaman movie. Something you would expect from a Disney flick. 👌

This is not Sam Raimi's best work. Not his worst. It's all Marvel's narrative. They clearly put the Scarlet Witch character in a direction that could make some audience care less about her later. However, this movie might have set up a Secret War event or Avengers 5 The Incursion.

Good film but with the whole idea of multiverse debacle, I kinda knew where this was going. It's weird how the villains wandered off the Happy's stark apartment after they betrayed Peter, only to split. Not sure what Doc Ock had in mind. Sandman & Lizard were just followers. I get that the Spider-Men from the two different universes shared the same dream that took their spirits to the MCU while asleep. The entire narrative is fine, it's just a way to reboot Spidey's arc going forward.

It's a typical Marvel flick. Like some of those films where people sit through only to get to the mid & post credit scenes. Examples; Eternals, Venom, Spiderman 2, Ant-Man 2, Captain Marvel, Deadpool 2 and etc. But I enjoyed it quite a bit. Nowhere near as good as any of the Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Bruce Lee legendary masterpieces...

Turned out the writers of this screenplay were the directors! On paper, it seemed cool until they drafted it for the film. Here's how I would do it. Change her origin. Her naive mom is a Kree and wants her to be with her civilization. But her human dad declines due to suspicions. So they kidnapped her. This is where FBI agent Fury comes in to play. The skrull refugees were the only ones that could help her exposed the Kree Colonial Agenda run by Ronan & Yong Rog. Story goes from here... Simple and easy!

I would have tweaked the origins and the set up to the movie. Rather than tweaking the characters. Instead of making this more about the Celestials and their eggs, I'd plot it in a way that only involves Kro, his deviants and the long lost Eternals that come to return to Earth not knowing the Infinity Saga event. This could give Dane Whitman-Black Knight a little bit of more time to develop properly as he gets to wield the Ebony Blade in the third act. Better idea than inserting two credit scenes...

Movie was fine. Predictable indeed. It does not hold up as a stand alone flick. You gotta watch the previous related films to fully get this. Otherwise you'd wind up watching a spectacle with some subtle drama and plot lines that aren't understandable, to the point where you will only enjoy the third act of it...
