Kudos to Russell Crowe for this good movie. Am going to be honest, i wasn't scared althrough neither was i moved by the background effects which i don't find necessary. I respect the fact that it's a historical film. It's not a film i would want to watch again. SPOILERS: Most of the acting were poor and too predictable most especially Henry's mother. It looked like there was no bond between her and the children, She didn't act like a mother, she acted like Henry is her patient. So Henry was being possesed and called out: "mom please help me" and she didn't move an inch nor utter any word until Pope Amorth said to her: "say something, a mother's love never fail" it was then that she said "Henry, i love you" like it was forced. Few seconds later Henry passed out with 'God is not here' inscribed on his chest and still she didn't act. Henry's sister turned as well and she stood agape. That ain't possible in real life. No mother will stand all that.

Okay. I decided to download this movie due to the acolade it won. Then watched it with my brother. It was the worst movie experience we ever had. Dont fall for the nice reviews about this movies by some people, Its a total waste of time. The only spectacular things about it are: the british accent used, The black and white view and background sounds. Its a very boring movie. If you are looking for a horror movie to amuse time, this aint for you. This will only waste your time. Its a kind of movie you will be praying to be over on time. And when its finally over you can then delete it from your device because i bet its not a rewatchable movie.

If you want loads of action and fights then this movie is for you. It doesn't lack martial artistry and i give it that. But its sooo boring because it's storyline unreal and outdated. It's those kind of story line that's based on girlfriend being kidnapped and revenge. There have been thousands of story line like this and its getting boring. The movie itself is very predictable. I can write a better script. There are fight scenes that start childishly, the only fight scene that started good is the one in the bar where the club owner and fight promoter thought he will make a cool cash again and his fighter was beaten by kurt. And why would kurt take his girlfriend to the house of the huge guy he's fighting just to have her hospitalized?. Was Durand blinded necessary? Why can't kurt attackers fight him collectively in duel? Must they all wait their turn and be coming one by one? The last fight scene, Is Kurt a human or a Terminator to have survived all those hits and being thrown at a rock many times and he still stood?? How many times will he rise from the dead? Anybody that like this movie is a small child that like fight sceenes. No mature person will dig this trash.

I dont know why lots of people dont give this movie the credit it deserves. If you are familiar with Alakada franchise you shouldnt expect anything too serious and petrifiying. Its pure comedy and this one is greatly written and chilling. Most of the nollywood comedy films in cinemas this days lack proper acting but this one is different. All the actors acted their roles well. Even the extras in the movie acted their part well that it wasnt glaring it was acted. And the movie didn't for once shift away from its plot and storyline. It didn't force itself to unnecessary action scenes like most movies this days, it sticked to its original plot which is party planning. Yetty (toyin Abraham) and Kas (broda shaggi) pairing really worked and gel well than i expected. Infact they made me watch this movie over and over again because they are not just funny but played the moments well.

Lots of action. The casts acted their roles well including Scott Adkins who i never expect will pull off that unusual cameo as a fat man. Spoilers: Why are the fully kitted imperial guards not always skilled? You would think they would give the hotel hell when they appeared with full body armor and helmet. It got worse that even the sensei daughter beat the hell out of them. You cant easily take out 5 years old kids like that not to talk of imperial soldiers. Even my grandma would beat them. Gone are the days i used to long for nonstop fight and gun movies like this. But i grew up. It's like they made Wick kill the elder for no sensible reason because the producer always want an excuse to shoot and fight. The actions in this film kept dragging on and on till it became unrealistic. No way a single bullet won't end up in john head after all that. And how come everyone in the club kept dancing like its normal to shoot and axe each other? Does that kind of club even exist? I understand it's a John wick franchise and it has to be action packed but they overdid it in my opinion.
