The acting and cinematography are really well done, especially for horror movie standards. But that does not mean the movie is subjectively good in all regards, the main characters were very likable but I feel like a lot of them were killed off to fast with no room for development. The plot of the girl surviving a school shooting should have been dived into more. I also think this movie had way to much plot armor, how does leather face a 70 year old man survive getting shot multiple times? he's supposed to be human, It almost seems like they are trying to make him more like Michael Myers or Jason in that regard. Another problem I have with the film is the fact that they build up all tension for Sally to get revenge only to be killed in under a minute she could have never been in the movie and it would have made no difference to the overall story such a wasted potential. The ending was purely shock factor wich seems to be the new running trope in horror movies nowadays.
