It's pretty bad. The main actress never changes her face not once until she smiles in the end one time. It's called emoting. It's mandatory when you act. I can do a much better job than she ever do. I think most of the audience could too. Vincent was fabulous as Kingpin (at least in the way that they used him which is not saying much) - although the way they used him was absolutely terrible and went against his character. (Let's neuter another strong powerful male.) The sexism in the show and in Marvel or in the world in general has gotten way too out of hand. STRONG MEN NEED TO RETURN! Misandry is NOT COOL! The side characters had a little bit of a chance to breathe but ultimately you didn't care about them. The only one that was charismatic was the grandfather and the grandmother was only charismatic when she was around him. The backstory using the native tribalism and the flashbacks was overdone to the point where I kept saying I get it I get it I get it I get it! You don't need to show it again. You're ruining it. And when she gets her uniform or costume this is supposed to be some kind of big reveal in every superhero trope and yet you don't feel anything when you see it. It's just like oh... She's going to wear that I guess? There really isn't that much action and the show is a whole is missing so much. And everybody is so angry the entire time and then at the end they are magically happy without ever really resolving anything because ya know... Only 5 episodes. Sort of like GoT finale season... Let's rush rush rush. Had they gone 10 episodes, fleshed a story out, made the actress actually use more than 1 face, & kept Fisk as a strong villain, & used Daredevil better & weaved this plot into something else that connected to the greater MCU it could have had a chance. As it stands it's boring. 3/10. Agents of Shield, Wanda vision, She Hulk, Loki, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, The Defenders... All MUCH BETTER than this. Yet most of them aren't canon? Explain it to me.

This is the GREATEST SHOW EVER PUT TO FILM. I have seen it 10 times now. I don't want to hear why you don't like the ending. You simply don't understand it. This show wasn't meant to be mainstream. It just happened to blow up. Most people are NOT going to get 90% of this show. You will HAVE to watch it more than once before moving onto the next episode. That takes work. My first watch through I recorded all the episodes. I kept a notebook. I talked with friends. I rewinded it (on VHS) & I freezeframed things so I could figure it out. That helped a TON. After seeing it 2-3 times the first time through. I took some time & let it all sink in. I came back and watched it a year later. Then I did it again & again. Each time I did it I saw things I missed. By my 7th watch I started keeping a spreadsheet of events & facts. Now I still enjoy it the 10th time as I did the first & I'm STILL learning things about the show. I'll admit... I hated the ending too the 1st time..., but after my 5th watch or so - it clicked. This was perfect. This show stops me from being depressed. There is a deeper meaning in it all if you look for it, & not in all that religious kinda stuff. (I'm atheist). I also don't mean in the sense that if you look for something hard enough you'll find it either. I literally mean... it's there. You just have to do the work.

I'm probably going to have to watch this 3 or 4 times to fully understand it. It's for serious film pros. I love diving into the crazy films. Primer for example. The Green Knight made me think of this film again. It's all over the place. Gritty. Dirty. Disjointed. All on purpose. It's fitting its Russian. It almost reflects the world as they see it if you see the Simpsons through their eyes. I'm not going to tell you to watch it... if you're here... you probably are already into this which means go for it. Just be warned it's a challenge.

I love the fact that they are willing to go out there and talk about Football. All the whining babies muting the TV who don't want to hear anyone or anything bad about any play are the product of generation Z who can't take any criticism & raised their kids in timeouts! The ENTIRE POINT of analysis is the point out what could have or should have been done better. Frankly, I wish there was more of it in EVERY job at ALL TIMES! Maybe America wouldn't be 27th in everything if people could haven't being told the truth about how awful they were at everything, from driving to ordering fast food, to the slow way they flip through TV channels. What we are seeing is people who are projecting their fear of critics onto the football players because they too know what it is like to suck at something & wish so deeply for a world that wont notice how terrible they are inside at just about everything they touch. I know... because I go outside... and I see these dummies everywhere I go, doing everything I do... only worse. I wouldn't want anyone to notice either if I were them. BRING ON MORE CRITICS!!!

Great show still. I hate what they did to Roseanne. Politics should not affect your career. That is why we have freedom of speech & the Rule of Law. We shouldn't need a law to say we can't fire you for speech. It's already in the Constitution. However, I feel that many people have rated this show down because they agree with me. 2 wrongs do not make a right. Telling someone that a show is bad is your free speech, & voting something down is also legal, but you are doing this show a disservice & in my opinion something that doesn't follow the heart of the Constitution by essentially trying to end this show, it's jobs, & all the money these talented actors & crew can make by doing what they do well just because some idiots in Hollywood overstepped their bounds. You aren't penalizing them. You are hurting the innocent ones. Fix the country. Protesting on The Conners reviews is not the correct way. That's how our country got broken to begin with. They want us to fight here, so we wont fight where it's important. Both parties are working together to do this because they stay in power "United We Stand, Divided We Fall." They are doing this to us using those words against us. Until we move to massive reforms & 3rd parties people can lose their jobs like Roseanne for no reason, we will argue about it here, nothing will change, Presidents & Congresses will change, but the Country will remain the same. Broken. You have to be willing to put Trump AND Clinton in jail & cannot criticize one without the other because they did the same crimes mostly. The fact this show exists is just a microcosm of a bigger proof that the majority of Americans have been brainwashed. Freedom is being able to speak out without fear of losing a job. It's being able to have a gun AND an abortion. It's being able to get married to whomever you want or drive without a seatbelt because these things don't affect other people. It's realizing that when our country was founded all people did all day was talk about how they should act, how seriously to take it, what role each official & citizen could play because it was all so new. They protected their homes without police, their towns as a team, their country without drafts, their finances without banks & credit, & their children & women without support. When we find that spirit again & channel it through our government programs & private outlets only then can we make America great. We have never fully realized the Dream yet. Once we fix one problem we create another. We free slaves & give universal suffrage, but circumvent the laws with a court of public opinion. Don't let Roseanne (or House of Cards) be the status quo. They can do it here, they can do it anywhere, even at YOUR job. It is almost as funny as the original & Metcalf steps up & deserves an Emmy for her role. This entire cast was always so funny that no one person ever needed to shoulder the role. The loss of one person can't kill the already baked in formula that just... works. Ignore the reviews. Think for yourself. In ALL things. Watch the show & I would also suggest in general... we should learn to compartmentalize our feelings. Just because 1 thing is bad, doesn't make the rest bad too. Judge a human as a human, judge their work as their work, judge the way they treat their lover & children as their family character. I may hate someone, but that doesn't mean they don't do a good job building homes. If they are the best... I'm buying a home from them. Life isn't all black & white.

I was curious... and that quickly turned to joy when I found this gem. What was supposed to be a gimmick is somehow a top 10 all time show for me. I am not a Karate Kid fan, however this show somehow captures all the 1980s glory & makes it a modern day instant classic. It FEELS 80s. The writing makes it so there aren't any bad guys or good guys. The show is very Game of Thrones like in the way they flush the characters out. There are so many flips, twists, & turns, that you can predict a lot of it, & even though it happens fast, it's still throwing in enough extra stuff that on top of the usual tropes, it's cheesy in all the right ways to work perfectly. I found myself rooting for nearly everyone at some point & then hating all the same characters at other points. Every villain is a hero in this story & that makes for masterful character development. It's sort of a cheap Dragonball Z setup where you have basically 2-3 real threats in the karate world & it grows to where if they were to have a tournament at the end of season 3 or 4 I could see 5-7 legitimate fighters which would allow for a rotation of winners in the long run. They have clearly thought this through & while I know for a show to end strong they have to have written the ending BEFORE starting the show. Shows that "go with the flow" end up blowing the plot without having a clear path to conclusion. So far it looks like they have a clear cut story to tell & a planned vision. Each episode is well paced & each interaction plays a part towards the advancement of a greater arc. I am truly amazed this turned out so well. I highly recommend this to anyone... even if you aren't a major fan of the movies.

Fun fact: we are ALL prostitutes. Some trade sex for $50 in a hotel. Some trade it for 2 months salary on a wedding ring. In olden days there was a "bride price" with a dowry for traditional marriage (until it was "redefined") - ya know the thing they say they are against today? Some people go to dinner & a movie. At the end of the day we are all transactional. The Girlfriend Experience only proves one thing: that we as a society are still focused only on the female story of what it's like to be transactional. A male NEVER has to worry if he sold himself too cheaply. When we decide it's okay to have sex, it's okay to have sex - because it's ALWAYS okay to have sex. The sheer thought that a woman should ever have to struggle with that decision shows she has no control over her body. The ONLY time she is equal to a man - is when she is giving it away for free. Then she is like a man. I only hope shows like this keep exposing the patriarchy & breaking the walls down until sex for both sexes becomes totally free & normal.

Great show... UNTIL the illegal & political hit job done on Kevin Spacey. I don't care what happened 30 years ago that you can't prove in a court of law. We have Rule of Law in America. You can't fire someone over hearsay. I paid for the 1st 5 seasons & pirated the 6th. Was glad I did. They don't deserve to get paid for what they did to Kevin. I hope he lands on his feet. I also hope the piece of trash actor from Star Trek Discovery gets legitimately in trouble so his career goes down in flames. That is also a trash show. They had to destroy the entire plot just to attempt to write Francis Underwood's death into a way that makes sense, yet it never does. The ending was also among the worst I've ever seen. Right up there with Game of Thrones.
