Powder is true to its name, addictive, engaging and highly toxic. Starting with the apt cast who performs brilliantly whole throughout the season, the setups are so realistic, you can feel being a part of the team up against Naved Ansari. The show shows us the growing up of Ansari in parts and glimpses, his relationship with the NCB, DEA etc. The show also shows the inner struggles of these departments and it's employees, intra departmental struggle to overrule each other every given point of time, intricately woven relationship of the staff of NCB, truly showcasing how a woman feels in a field dominated by Men, the religious and social evils and tensions the staff has to face during various raids etc. The show should be lauded for its character developments, dialogues, editing and most importantly the story line which now demands more in the Season 2 (fingers crossed).
The show is something that should have been made a name for itself at the start itself when it aired first time, but it didn't as happens with many gripping shows in India. However, with Netflix reviving it, it is for everyone to see and applaud its beauty.
