I love it! It was very emotionally sad watching it as a 7 year old and was more emotional as a 13 year old

I love this movie, it really speaks to people who suffer depression in the song "under the surface" and also even though it isn't Mexican it really speaks to our/the Mexican community and how we put high expectations for our children. And to Ndeye Kane and Zoey Senger who both put a one-star review for the wonderful movie Encanto, I am going to answer your questions. I am going to start off with Ndeye Kane u expected more of an adventure from the movie but if u think about it almost every Disney movie has a lot of music and slice of life, and the reason the plot moves so fast is probably that they had short of the due date, so they had to make it short, and they don't talk much because IT IS A MUSICAL also the reason Mariano and Dolores become a couple like that is that he just wants a partner for some weird reason and think about it that is the same with Isabella she never met him and then Mariano is proposing and in Mexican families this sort of happens a lot but ended up good in the end. Now for Zoey Senger, you think this was childish acting well I would very much like to see you act this out Ms. Know it all, and also the whole reason for the apology is that in a Hispanic household usually it is like this where you apologize instead of the aggressor or both apologize. Also, they give back the powers, in the end, is because the powers became a part of them, and they need them to help the whole community which is something Americans don't understand because you guys are very capitalist which isn't necessarily good, but it is very common in a Hispanic community.
