This game brews your emotions and builds on them, not letting go for a single moment. Like a mother holding her child in the darkest hour. When apotheosis begins to play at the end you feel an overwhelming sense of “oh my god, I feel as though I have transcended my emotions” and then, it let’s go. Pushing you into a state of warm feelings and a truly heartfelt inner peace of a seemingly impossible amount. No game has mastered this until Journey and I don’t think there will be another for a long time.
