I’m not an acting expert. But to me this was one of the best performances I’ve ever seen by an actor from James McAvoy. Just rewatched tonight after seeing it 8 years ago and I still find it to be a really good movie.

This movie was really bad movie. It had some big stars in it but it was obvious they were phoning it in for a paycheck. The plot and characters are a lot to handle. Also their dialogue brought up social issues through little quips throughout the whole film. It felt pandering and cheap. Almost as if they know this movie is a piece of garbage and trying to pander to an easier audience. It has a few cgi scenes and makes you wonder why they didn’t write them out they were so bad. I don’t even remember Liam Nielsen’s characters name in the movie. In my mind he is just named Liam Nielsen, truck driver whose life sucks. That being said, I do like some bad movies. There is value to watching what appears to be a rushed piece of crap. Kudos to them for the 43% on rotten tomatoes. It would really have to depend on who I think you are to recommend this movie. Respectfully I would give it my blessing if I thought you would find the value in it. Disrespectfully I would tell you it’s a good movie because you told me your favorite movie was something like fast and the furious.
