It's not often I get to say I liked a movie adaptation better than the book, but this show takes the corny, cringy, and dated material out and turns it into a thrilling modern ride. The actors are wonderful, Otto Farrant is perfect as Alex and the story is gripping. The chemistry between the characters is precious. I love it all.
