Wonderful! Brilliant acting and a real tonic of escapism from the harsh reality of the World, at the moment. It most definitely needs to be completed as there are too many loose ends with the very abrupt jolt of an ending. I was really annoyed and felt wretched at the way Series 1 ended; just like the other 75,000,000. Global viewers As with all Romantic dramas based around the works of the author, Jane Austen, it needs to have a Happy Ending for our two Romantic leads, Charlotte Heywood and Sidney Parker. After all their love is for eternity. We also would like to know more about some of the characters such as Lady Susan and LadyDenham, Edward Denham, and Esther, also Ms. Georgina Lambe. Why and how did Sidney end up becoming her guardian? What is the original love story and attraction between Mrs. Eliza Campion and Sidney Parker? How is it that he ends up entrapped into marriage with her and obliged to marry her? We would like to hear of Sanditon being rebuilt after the fire. Do Tom and his family end up in the Debtors' Prison and the Poor House? So many reasons for a Series 2. Otherwise, if it is left as a one series drama....what a terrible waste of programming time and acting talent and what an insult to some of the finest actors involved! If it had been managed properly, this drama could have equalled the likes of 'Poldark' and run for quite a few series.
