Good acting by the leads. I got so annoyed by the following though, that I turned it off. I’m sick of these writers failing to do their homework and attempting to make the general public believe that these stories are even remotely resembling of realism. Here’s a spoiler - though there’s nothing to “spoil”. When the department heads heard that 3 officers were killed, it was just “on with the case”. No one stopped and said “Who was killed? What about their families?! Oh man, we got a crisis!” Nothing like that. Writers like this insult people who would love to see their professions be represented by some reality. DO YOUR HOMEWORK HOLLYWOOD!! Lame!

Insulting gun sequences to anyone with an IQ above 1.

It was a great movie with a great story. They almost got a 5 but I’ll never give a 5 to Hollywood when they dishonor what real heroes do. Fantasy is one thing, but in this one instance, seeing the lead actor, who plays a cop, shoot the villain at the end and never go disarm the presumed corpse. All of that intense suspense built up that even the characters so well displayed to have it downplayed by a simple decision to not have him check the villain and remove the firearm from him insult the minds of the intelligent when you do that and lose all credibility regardless of the other “forgivable” goofs that show you didn’t do your homework or think that the general public won’t care that they’re being insulted. Movie wise, the “forgivable” would’ve never prevented a 5. But that one instance almost made me give it a 1 out of pure anger. A good movie should never make you mad at the writer.
