*Viewer beware* you're in for disappointment: I would say the 1st one is a little better because it felt somewhat original. The second season follows a lot of same patterns of the 1st season which makes things feel slightly predictable, less interesting and new. There's teenage love triangles and they make it a point to add a gay boy in the 1st one and a lesbian in the 2nd season. Which felt pushy and unnatural. The music was also specially annoying. It didn't feel captivating in anyway. It's like they shoved a bunch of trendy/TikTok 2024 songs in this season even not needed. It's literally forced its way to be as current as possible including slangs. Goosebumps is supposed to be full of mysteries and a bit of scares. It's like a 20 years old wrote the script never have seen the show. David Schwimmer was literally the only reason I watched it and he did great. He played the nerd dad well. And seeing Sendhil Ramamurthy was awesome since heroes, he also did well. Everything else : story line/ the music and the dynamic was unforfortunatly a disappointment and easily forgettable. Not something I'll see myself talk about after this review, unless it's to save people's time. And for those saying it's nostalgic, I get it its the closest thing we have in modern times connecting people to the 90s as far as "taking it back" but there was not a single thing nostalgic. Not even the theme song to the show in the 90s. Not a single connection. Do better Disney.

It was def a 5/10 def wait till it streams. I was not impressed. So much more cause have been scripted. The dialog was mid the storyline was mid. Honestly, the script could have been better. There was a cave where something could have happened, a scripture ot something a lot more interesting. It just appeared to be a lazy script without much thought. As horror fans we crave curiosity, mystery and if there is a way out. I get its a urban legend of some sort but even giving closure ro maybe a.family member of something they found in the Forrest or closing the road all together would have been a nicer way to end things.

I loved the film! It was brilliant, mysterious, Intriguing it was artistic, creative and original horror. Some things were rather simple, and it was some of the most satisfying parts of the movie. I highly recommend! Also, great cast/Actors
