The book is an enigma. I couldnt stop reading it, hoping that there would some explanation for all the mysteries found in the book, and how they all connect. Unfortunately, the ending was very disappointing. It's almost like the author didnt appreciate readers' expectations of some resolution to the mysteries presented throughout the book, and didn't know how to end it.
I felt very let down.
I am not sure why the narratives in certain chapters had to be so long and detailled to the point of monotony. What is the author trying to do that couldn't have been accomplished in fewer words? I wouldn't refer to it as a waste of time, but I would not recommend it to anyone but a serious student of literature who could dissect its literary value.
