As a fan of the books and TV show featured on Netflix, I came into the Blood Origin series with zero knowledge of what I would be watching. All I knew is that it was a prequel. What else was necessary? However, after the first episode I realized my mistake. I would need to continue watching the series...but...I wasn't sure I'd enjoy it. Spoiler: I did not. Also, possibly spoilers ahead.* With incredibly lazy, and (what for a lack of a better term...) "pre-teen book esque writing" this show manages to add very little substance to the lore with its forgettable, shallow characters and story that barely passes as a story. With no fault to the actors who I'm sure did the absolute best they could with the support and materials they were given, this was quite possibly the worst TV series I've ever finished. Thankfully I would only need to watch four episodes to learn about, The Conjunction of the Spheres, and the " first Witcher".
