This is a beautifully written book. I was fully absorbed in every detail. It’s my favourite of his books so far - and I loved Line of Beauty.
Incidents from David’s life unfold - some left hanging - some details emerging much later. It’s not a thriller. It’s not rule breaking but it’s a book to savour.

Slow moving but a delicious watch. Beautiful lingering shots of Italy. Andrew Scott is superb and, while I loved the golden glow of Jude Law and Gwinnie, this version is better.
