Call me PinkZilla! ;)
Well! I don't usually write reviews, but this one stirred up something in me! Btw, neither #KJO nor #ananyapandey are paying me for this. How i wish they did! First off, its a huge departure from Karan Johar's larger-than-life trope. Watching characters with all their #flaws and still being #flawsome is what worked for me. Ananya Pandey was a real surprise. I gave the girl zero attention until i watched this one. Well, it only goes to show how prejudiced I am by the fact that good-looking girls cannot act. The beautifully crushes many such #subconsciousbias that we hold inside us.
The film is witty, clean, wholesome and comes loaded with good looking people, who by the way, did justify the roles they were playing. Every character was given a decent breathing space and it certainly didn't make Ananya look holier-than-thou. #callmebae is a fun watch. And, do keep your mind and eyes open for the styling extravaganza!
