This movie is laughably bad. The alligators attack anything in the water unless it is the girl who often swims with them like she is swimming with the dolphins. The movie also wants you to believe a human can out swim a gator in the water because her father has faith in her.
This is also one of those films where a human takes more damage than Wylie E. Coyote. The girl is bitten at least twice, and yet retains the use of the limbs that were just in the alligators mouth, and by the end of the movie the injuries are all but forgotten and the girl and her father are both completely healed like they are wolverine cousins.
The alligators have absolutely NO trouble killing anyone except the two main protagonist, who miraculously escape every encounter they have with the giant monsters.
The last thing is the writers were too lazy to research their own antagonist, apparently so much so they could not be bothered to even watch a video on YouTube. If the had bothered they would know the gators kill by biting and rolling. That is how they tear there meat into bite sized pieces. The ones in the movie never flip once.
