I am, unfortunately, disappointed with the Frazier reboot. After learning that Kelsey Grammer was the only returning cast member, I wasn't expecting it to be like the original but I wasn't expecting it to be dull either. The only two really promising supporting characters are Olivia and Eve. It's sad we don't get to see much of Eve. The character, Alan, was a little off at first but his chemistry eventually blended well after a few episodes. The actor who plays David is the weakest link that undermines the talent of the entire cast. There's no chemistry with him, he doesn't seem to fit in at all, and acts like he's lost at sea on set.They should have recast him after the first episode. . I would say that the fan favorite, Niles Crane, is the missing puzzle that would complete the cast but the writing of the show seems a little off as well.

It was the best of both worlds- the movie and the play!

Season one could have been great but they wasted a potentially good storyline about sinths. Season two, didn't know what direction the writers were going with on this one and don't even remember what it was about. However, season three is da bomb! And not just because of the nostalgia. The storyline, new crew, and new species and an old one I'm so thrilled they brought in. They need to keep whomever is writing and producing this season. Enough said.

I tried to give this one a good try every season because I'm a huge ST fan. BUT ..every (and I do mean EVERY) season the storylines were lame and they never fully developed any of the characters. New species (except one) they never explored and I know nothing about. It's like they threw away the script every minute and rewrote during each episode and lost direction. Total waste of great talent all around. Also, I'm all for being woke and I loved that they had a very diverse cast of characters but again, the story lines were too touchy-fealy and less about what Star Trek should be about.
