Milly

I saw 'Celia' in 1991 when I was studying film at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia. It is an astonishingly powerful film and the story has stayed with me all these years. I confess, I had forgotten the name of the film - but have spent ages searching the web with prompts like 'rabbit', 'mccarthyism', 'australian film', and some other search words that would give some of the plot away..... This morning I found a picture of Celia and her rabbit and the intensity of her gaze took me straight back. I'm so pleased to now know the name and I'm off to try to find a copy to watch. Wish me luck! I thoroughly recommend this film.
