Playing on Game Pass, so my review might be a bit biased. I think what this game does do is amazing. It's not trying to be Skyrim or KCD2, and anyone expecting that experience from Avowed need to look elsewhere. This is a good casual RPG for people who aren't interested in spending over 100 hours in those games. This game has great combat, story, and the environments are so pretty. My only issues with the game are some performance issues and the static npcs. The towns are a bit lifeless and empty, but absolutely beautiful otherwise. This game will be extremely divisive, but if you liked the Outer Worlds, you'll like this. And for the people saying it's too "woke", the only "woke" part about it is choosing your pronouns in the character creator, which is never mentioned at all during the story. Everyone calls you Envoy despite your gender, and the story itself doesn't even tackle gender norms, or "wokeness" which wouldn't even be a problem of they did. Highly recommend for Game Pass users, for everyone else, buy Game Pass for a discount or wait for a sale.
