The show has a unique concept but I think it was executed poorly. The entire time it teetered between funny and unique and absolutely annoying. I made it to episode 7 before I started skipping to the end just to see who was still left. After going from the top 5, to the top 4, to the top 3. Only to immediately go back to 4 and back to 5 (in the span of 2 episodes) seamed SO unnecessary but I had been skeptical since episode 1. To eliminate two people right out the gate was so weird and to send a chef who clearly had so much potential because of some whiny Instagram chef (who blamed her partner for their loss AND WOULD NOT SHUT UP ABOUT IT when she literally left him to do ALL the heavy lifting with half the amount of time) I thought was absolutely ridiculous. All in all I think the show had potential but drastically missed the mark.
