One of the best series I've ever seen. The intricate plot was balanced by nuanced characters brought to life by a superb cast. I just finished the 3rd season and almost feel like starting over.

It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a book as much as this one. I have laughed out loud frequently and feel these characters are people I have seen or known. I cannot praise it enough. Ms Simonson is a gifted story teller with a gift for nuance as well as the ridiculous. Major Pettigtrew's Last Stand is a novel to be shared with whomever loves a great story, humor, irony and above all love, in all of its incarnations.
