I love this film. I read the 1 star reviews and a lot of them are just people trying to be edgy or people who are like "I cried while watching this, so it's bad." Like?? The fact that it evokes such emotions is the reason I'm giving it five stars! I originally watched it when it came out three years ago, and it's as relevant as it was then, if not more.
Gut-wrenching, pertinent, and just amazing! I definitely recommend it. I do understand people's complaints about the animation style to an extent...though I personally enjoyed it.
As someone who's still in school and has siblings who are in younger grades than I am, I appreciate things that bring matters like school shootings into light while focusing more on victims and their families than the perpetrators.
