Stupidest cop ever! The idea for this movie was good. I don’t understand why it was necessary to make the lead protagonist, Jaime Lee Curtis - a cop - so incompetent. She never thinks things through, nor thinks ahead. Her reactions are emotional time after time. Her dialogue with fellow cops and the lawyer are minimal. It’s like she forgets how to speak at the most important moments. She is being stalked and her life is in danger, yet her guard is always down. People close to her don’t know what’s going on, so they end up dead. Even the ones that do know, end up getting hurt. It’s such a frustrating experience to watch this film unravel. You know she is supposed to defeat the villain in the end, but the entire movie you’re thinking this chick should not be a cop! No one in this movie should be in law enforcement.
