Defense is glitched out entirely. Base align was removed from the game. Setting a shell completely warps every coverage assignment on the field. Hot routing DBs gives them assignments on the other side of the field. Man to man automatically moves LBs out wide to cover RBs without any kind of asking for that. The safety width and depth setting is a nice try but poor execution as the shells completely destroy any attempt to try and disguise coverage cuz the assignments are crisscrossed over the field. Got my right corner covering a deep third on the left. Just poor execution by the engineers all around. Pass rush is either non existent or totally overpowering. My DBs are dropping way too many picks too.

Terrible game, copy and paste with a couple ui changes and cute feature to dress it up. No huddle is broken, Oline is even worse, game still heavily scripted, have no control on certain plays. Franchise copy and paste no depth, storylines just clunky, make no sense and time consuming. Offseason is the exact same, no depth, lifeless. MUT bland and lifeless. Multiple announce teams is fun but their commentary is not even accurate about the situations and they’re lifeless. Also no offense to Kate I’m sure she’s wonderful in real life but her recordings sound like fingernails on a chalkboard, they are truly unpleasant to the ears. EA put no effort into this game. Best thing about it is the soundtrack which is actually good for once and custom stem routes. College football 25 is way better feel like I actually have control in that game.
