Oppenheimer was an amazing journey!! I highly recommend buying a ticket to watch it in IMAX. It is ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!! Oppenheimer is so much more than a boring and plain historical drama. It is packed to the brim with intense plot, scenes, and music. Even the cinematography was spot on. The best thing about it is the fact that it leaves audiences with bitter, scary thoughts. It empowers us to think about the dangers of using such atomic weapons. I left the cinema and felt this message deeply in my heart. Another great thing is the suspense and storyline. Oppenheimer catches you with every word and scene it presents. And it provides deep, rich interactions (acted out by some of the greatest actors of our time!!). It is everything you'd hope a movie would be: intense, thought-provoking, heartbreaking, enthusiastic, loving. And, its comments on the corruption of the legal system and prosecution demonstrates its expertise in capturing the struggles society faces and the injustice certain individuals experience. GO WATCH IT!! <3

Save yourself 2 hours of your life and DO NOT WATCH BARBIE!!! I REPEAT DON'T WATCH BARBIE. Think of Barbie as an attempt at baking a cupcake. It ends up coming out mushy, trashy and undercooked. Then it's hastily covered up with icing, sugar, and sprinkles to mask the fact that it truly sucks. Barbie is quite literally one of the worst films I have seen, and I have seen a lot of bad ones. While trying to spread the message about feminism it ultimately ends up destroying gender equality and ruins the image of men in trying to empower women. I am a woman myself and found this movie incredibly demeaning towards men, and most of its "powerful" monologues/ideas surrounding how "all women have suffered so much and shouldn't need to" were incredibly wrong and honestly insulting. Its introduction with the smashing of doll heads seemed cringe and poorly put together, and most of the movie's plotline seemed dull and boring. It also tries to tell the story of the mending of a mother-daughter relationship... but fails utterly. No child instantly gets comfortable with an estranged parent just because some woman cries and experiences an emotional break-down. Idk. This movie was just a huge mess. Made me want to leave the cinemas and get a refund. Even the delicious popcorn I usually LOVE seemed to be disgustingly bad the day I saw Barbie.
