No I haven’t read the book and thought it was disappointing as if I had read it. It lacked something and cannot put my finger on what. Guess I am still waiting for something to happen. I thought Daisy did do a great job but even she couldn’t save this one for me. It took me 3 attempts to get past the dreadful acting in the opening scene but persevered and sadly 2 hours of my life I won’t get back. The direction and producing was so mediocre and could have had great potential. The saving grace was the cinematography
