A waste of time.
I watched it yesterday, and I'm still wondering what the Venice Film Festival jury were drinking when they awarded this sadistic mess of a movie with a Grand Jury Prize.
The movie drags on for nearly half an hour before the "plot" starts. Once it starts, it's a pointless succession of gratuitously violent scenes. No context is given for the "story": you end the movie with no idea of why did the uprising happen, or if the rioters are in cahoots with the government in order to install a military regime. There's absolutely no character development, and lots of plot holes. It looked like a super-long trailer for what should had been a mini series (with better directors and writers, of course)
