This movie is not recommended for kids. I regret that my daughter already watched it a day before I did because it was on Netflix for kids. I did not let my youngest finish the movie with me. In my opinion, this is a very disturbing movie, with the kids wanting to "orphan" themselves to get rid of their bad parents. It has a dark message, cleverly camouflaged with fun, entertaining and lively animation, rainbows, candy factory, and whimsical singing.
