Look great visuals and some interesting background work on some of the characters. But there is overcompensated level of female heroes (being very mindful that Asimov wrote from a pretty male-centric view of things. Also, the story is just too far from the original. Picking up on some comments from a couple of other reviewers, imagine what would have happened to Harry Potter if the degree of change that has been applied to Foundation was applied to Harry Potter! Would have been a disaster.
