The storyline is emotional - it brings out the naked truth of the man-animal conflict environmental issues. The narrative style is realistic, sans the usual blings of the bollywood- which is really good.
Vidya Balan was able to pull out a helpless but determined DFO and so were the others especially Sampa Mandal. I saw FilmiBeat say that the director was unable to utilise the potential Vidya, however I believe Vidya did a good job anything beyond that would have killed the character.
The storyline is emotional.
