Really enjoyed this series. The acting was so good, and they did a good job telling a really heavy story.

I'm so obsessed with this show it borderlines unhealthy. I love love love it and am actually a little mad every time an episode ends and I have to wait another week. Amazing writing, I love the characters who all have distinct personalities, and the storyline does not get old. HUGE fan and encourage anyone who hasn't seen it, to drop what they're doing and start it RIGHT NOW! :)

This show is absolutely hilarious. Like a lot of shows, the first two episodes or so are a little awkward, but I think that just comes with developing characters. Some of my favorite shows start off a little clunky and then all of a sudden I'm hooked. I love the family relationship, where they're snarky and mean but deep down they all truly care about each other. SO GOOD! Highly recommend.

I was left disappointed. I feel like they had something really good going with the storyline and then tried to wrap it up too quickly. It felt goofy it ended so fast. I felt zero connection to any of the characters, and some of them served literally ZERO purpose in the film. There were so many blatantly unrealistic moments - like the entire final fight felt like slapstick humor. This felt like watching the first draft of an essay… good bones but needed a few more revisions.

Omg… this was such an intense show and so amazing. While I don’t personally feel it’s a super original story, it’s still extremely well told and the acting, writing and directing is phenomenal. The fight scenes are next level and I truly loved the characters. I also love to see a female lead who is truly badass. Absolutely watch this.

I’m blown away. Bo did such an amazing job making this and it gave me all the feels. I both cracked up and wanted to cry at some points. overall it’s so interesting and amazing the way he filmed it, the way he told it and how talented he is. Absolutely watch this.

So thoroughly enjoyable. Action packed, great acting, clever premise. I so hope they make more seasons, and in the meantime I plan on reading the manga and watching the anime series if there is one. I am so impressed.

Wooooow this lived up to the hype and beyond. Such great directing and acting - I don’t remember the last time I’ve been that tensed up and invested in a movie at the theaters. Go see it on the big screen, support the theaters and John Krasinski cuz he did it again.

So, this kind of movie isn’t my jam to begin with, I like the rock as a guy from his interviews but I don’t think I’ve seen a movie with him in it that I like: most are too cheesy and predictable. This was pretty cheesy and predictable, but also strewn with hilarious moments between Hobbs and Shaw. I got a few good laughs, my favorite part by far was the music though, definitely downloading the soundtrack. Other than that, it was unbelievable, pretty bad acting (except my Idris Elba, boy, why were you in this), and a super thin plot line that was really just onion skin to justify the fight scenes. I love a good fight scene, but the rest was so awkward.

I'm with Serena's review on this one... I went in to this movie very open minded. I did not set high expectations but I knew I loved Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins, so I figured even if it was a thin storyline I'd enjoy it. SPOILERS AHEAD First red flag: THIS MOVIE IS THREE HOURS LONG. And if you think it's going to be one of those that gets really attention grabbing to the point that three hours in the credits start rolling and you go "wow! that didn't feel like three hours!" you're wrong... the storyline (with all the nuances people seem to attribute to it) could have easily been told in an hour and a half. EASILY. Nothing was so deep or mind bending about this film that it needed to be told in 3 hours... So many dull, slow moments that I legit thought were supposed to be funny, started wondering if it was a spoof movie (Serena's review again, the coffee shop scene where they wont stop looking back at each other?! I thought Key and Peele were gonna pop out...) I did not like Claire Forlani's character... there are many reasons, one of which is her voice which I know is a very subjective opinion... it was incredibly soft and high and whispery, and half the time she sounded like she was trying to play a shy 13 year old girl instead of a WOMAN.. again, there are people like that, so that was just an irritating thing for me. She was independent, even witty, at the beginning with her father, then completely awkward in the coffee shop, then this weird sort of angry that felt like a pouting child, who QUICKLY flipped to being head over heals for Death/Brad Pitt. It took literally no time at all, felt way too sudden, but again, I prefer movies with more character development and relationship development instead of love at first sight which seems like lazy writing to me. (You'd think in 3 hours you could do a LOT of character development but apparently not) I like the concept of Death wanting to experience what human LIFE is like... I like that sort of other worldly curiosity. Brad Pitt was great at the role he was given, and hilarious, but again I also wasn't sure if it was always supposed to be funny, or if it was just so awkward it was funny.... Overall, to me, just an incredibly slow, boring film dragged out over three hours, with subpar acting and bad acting painted over an only slightly interesting storyline.
