Bros is definitely an enjoyable watch, as long as youโre not weighed down by internalized homophobia like some of the folks behind those 1-star reviews๐คฃ๐คฃ The dynamic between Bobby and Aaron feels refreshingly real; you can genuinely see relationships like theirs in real life, with all the messy, awkward, and sweet moments that come with them.
Itโs a rom-com that dares to be sex-positive, honest, and culturally relevant, blending sharp humor with real emotional vulnerability and thoughtful commentary on queer life. Some people seem to think every movie has to be either a masterpiece or trash, but Bros lives in that more interesting middle space where itโs imperfect, heartfelt, and fun.
Iโve rewatched it several times over the past few years, and it still hits every time. Iโd love to see a Bros 2 someday, but even if we donโt get one, I really appreciate what this film brought to the table: a modern rom-com that actually takes risks and feels true to life.
