Let me begin by saying that if you like your war films action packed with every cliche under the sun,....then you'll probably enjoy this movie. Basic military tactics and soldiering seemed to have been swept aside and replaced with over-confident and incompetent gung-ho stereotypes. And the chat, the incessant chat,....they just don't stop talking - it's no surprise they keep getting shot at! Either this film is just a poor telling of a true story,....or a sad indictment of the US Army on operations in Afganistan. A war movie for the Call of Duty generation - high on action and low on characterisation.
