A very lazy film from the famed Raj Kumar Hirani. Really disappointing. Was the earlier magic of his films was due to association with Vidhu Vinod Chopra? Poor writing has laid to waste all the talent available. Shahrukh who hit top form in 2023 has been completely wasted. Even the ever dependable Boman Irani looks so out of place. Hope to see better from Mr Hirani.

Below average by a below average director and his team. Pedestrian and cliched writing and direction. Action is supposedly usp of Rohit Shetty but to be frank the action and CG were C grade. And to top it all Irritating performance by Shilpa Shetty.

Every thing seems going right for the movie right from director helming the project, casting, acting, research, technical aspects but still it does not deliver to satisfaction. It felt more episodic rather than a coherent narrative. The famous incidents from the Field Marshal' s life did not seem organically ingrained with the narrative. They felt more like fillers. And the fear of not missing out on any aspect of his life is very palpable. A golden opportunity has been missed due to weak script.
