Crystal Brudie (MeshMedia Entertainment)

I really enjoyed the film and am proud to own a Penetration Films VHS copy from back in the day. It reminds me a bit of the movie's Dr. Caligari and Meat Cleaver Massacre, with a few sprinkles of Rocky Horror Picture Show and some weird Frank Hennenlotter thing thrown in.... But definitely original and worth checking out ESPECIALLY if you are a ZACHERLE fan.... YES, the great horror TV and radio host makes a few appearances (hence, the Hennenlotter nod) to flesh out the story, which can be rather convoluted but you can tell a lot of effort went into trying to make a legitimate cult classic.... Which BTW was reviewed by Bob Martin in an early 80's copy of FANGORIA Magazine... We are long time film maker's ourselves and appreciators of what effort it takes to do what these folks did with barely anything, back in the pioneering days of surreal 1980's film making! ~Dave Brudie MeshMedia Entertainment
