I played it on PS4 when it launched and was very frustrated. Even returned the game and got my money back. I'm playing it now, 2024 on PS5 and it's been one of the greatest gaming experiences ever. A masterpiece in my humble opinion.
Highly recommend it if you're into deep narratives, RPG elements, first person shooting in a complex open world.
