๐ฅ Loki as confused as Trump ๐ฅ
Just like how the US president is totally confused, making silly and flip-flop statementsโฆ director Loki here is completely lost.
Sounds absurd? Thatโs exactly how absurd Coolie feels.
How did my Thalaivar even agree to this? At the audio launch, he admitted to dozing off during Lokiโs 2.5-hour TV interview. Iโm guessing the same thing happened here โ Loki narrated the script, Thalaivar fell asleep, woke upโฆ and must have said yes!
Shobin is not even part of the main story, yet somehow gets maximum screen time. From jumping into a moving (but slow enough) car to nab Shruti Haasan, to fighting a hundred guys on a train, killing the driver, and thenโฆ taking the train just to the next station before casually stepping off in a dog chain like itโs a Sunday market โ and nobody notices.
Then comes Sathyaraj โ a coolie a few years ago, now a โscientistโ who invents a machine thatโs literally an old wooden chair. We all thought it would be a time machineโฆ but no, itโs something utterly silly! Only he can operate it. The entire international syndicate watches him daily and still canโt figure it outโฆ until his daughter randomly pulls a few levers and boom โ it works!
Sorry Mr. Loki, but from Thalaivarโs entry scene itself, it felt like you had a hidden agenda. Couldnโt think of something more exciting?
๐ต Positives? Anirudhโs BGM โ 100% fire.
๐ Thalaivar โ 200% class, commitment, and style. A joy to watch from start to finish.
Watch Coolie for Thalaivarโฆ and then spend the rest of your Sunday decoding Lokiโs brain.
My Rating: โญโญโญโญโญ (5/5) for Thalaivar
โญ (1/5) for Loki โ for at least trying to bring back vintage Rajinikanth which was good
