Outer banks is nothing short of intriguing, and very very good. It is well written and the characters are well developed. I would appreciate a more modest dress for teenage high school girls. Bellies out an booty jean cut off shorts in front of parents and being displayed as daily wear troubles me a bit. It sets a standard for young ladies that it's okay because you're a teenager. How realistic is the amount of freedom these teenagers are afforded in this movie of under age high school students. That part is baffling and not a great example but glamorize reality. In the age of monkey see, monkey do. I fear our teens, will mimic this behavior and follow its path to nowhere. The plot is well developed and all characters Are believable. But that's the issue. They are too believable and influential no matter their economic or entitled status. Poor little rich kids and undervalued struggling lower class youth hungry to belong in a world where no one really belongs we are forced to digest the possibilities of adventure, substance and having meaning and purpose in whatever our background. We are all connected and in this show unity and loyalty gets amazing results which often succeed and sometimes fail, but yet yield a learning experience which promotes growth. I can't stop watching and will see it thru till the end of season 3 and I'm sure I will have withdrawals pining after a season 4 with hope of much more. Thanks it's really good a must watch. I was sceptical at first! Also. Most teen films are way too suggestive and immoraly imbalanced Ans very hard to digest. The writers clearly are talented here. Enjoy! Dr. TJ,SC
