I'll be straight to the point, this book made me think like it was something straight out of wattpad. The plot had a lot of potential, however the writing and execution were just not it. There were some plot holes which could have been avoided if the writer had taken more time to develop the story and the characters instead of just putting it there. the characters lacked charisma, specifically the protagonist. Izumi's character failed to show and growth except for the last few pages, the love between Akio and Izumi was just.... I have no words. I still wonder how they develop feelings for each other when they had little interaction with each other, Akio is cold mostly but suddenly becomes sweet to her and shows affection. same with the other characters, the conflict was unnecessary as well, or may I say, poorly put together, it added no benefit to the characters. If the plan of action chosen for the characters had been different, then maybe the conflict would've been of importance. However it's a good one time read if you are considering something light. It could've been better though, I feel
