Sorry but been an avid fan from beginning ( have every read - some several ) but lately I hate to say just not hitting the mark … initially I thought awesome .. a real breath of life to the genre since David Gemmell left us and a worthy successor but in my opinion the heroes , red country, some of the half series and then some of the wisdom have been hit and miss , nothing in comparison to the first law series … I put it down to success and wish him all and more but when you do a deep dive - for example Brands demise as a one liner …. Really .. Nine fingers showing up years later then not seeing what is next … Shivers breaking the circle rule … The young lion turning …. The other way … lots of unexplained… The devils could go into any age to any character much like movies , predators , dances with wolves etc… easily substituted and ready for a sequel. May just be myself but I don’t feel it anymore which for me is disappointing.
