Alfred Redmond III

This show is one hell of a ride!!! It's a fun blend of 80's camp, animation & Nintendo NES 8-bit zaniness. Anyone who says it's a rip-off of other superhero characters completely missed the point & is taking it too seriously. It isn't meant to be serious as evidenced by the deliberately low budget feel of the show. While I love a superhero story I find that DC takes itself too seriously & comes off dreary while Marvel is fun but too formulaic & at this point depressingly predictable. Marvelous Man's twist later in the series made it feel more humanizing which was completely unexpected but is appreciated. My only complaint is that 7 episodes is disappointing. I would have liked 10 episodes but perhaps that would have made it feel bloated. I'm really hoping for a season 2 because I had an amazing time watching it. I rarely find shows good enough to rewatch (Ozark is great but I have no desire to revisit old episodes) but this one is definitely getting a second viewing.
