The Mother is best described being written by an AI programed to see storytelling through the eyes of Steven Seagal. If this was really not written by AI, I would be quite shocked by this Reverse Turing Test. The logic, or jumps in logic, in the story or between different scenes can be bewildering and baffling. It can be argued that, "Sir, this is just a movie, and one must use their imagination, like irrational points being between the rational points on the real number line, to make it complete," but really I feel as if entire intervals are missing on the number line for this movie.
