In a nutshell this book is a pile of sh#te. It starts off well enough but just descends into something quite farcical. I genuinely cannot understand all the hype & positive reviews it has received. If you make it to the end itโs because youโre incredibly disciplined; curious; a masochist or have a dark sense of humour.

I was pleasantly surprised at this adaptation & would recommend potential viewers to give it a go. It does a great job of presenting many topical issues. I couldnโt help but reflect on how the younger me would have benefited from having such visible representation growing up. I like to think that this series will have the power to generate positive & balanced discourse & in an ideal world even save lives.

Have just completed all 3 seasons & was blown away at the quality of production , acting etc. Seriously do yourself a favour & sit back & get ready to be thoroughly entertained. Just brilliant.

This is one of those films that will stay with you. Beautifully shot & achingly tender and humanistic. Through its storytelling it sends a powerful & poignant message about shirking prescribed societal, cultural & religious norms & expectations and their shared oppressiveness. That love is love ; the importance of living oneโs life authentically & marching to the beat of oneโs own drum unapologetically. Just stunning.
