This movie is brilliant and tear-jerking. Unfortunately, this movie depicts our society— the Asian society to be specific. We were always taught not to stick your nose into other people’s family affairs. When you see injustice happening to a child for instance, your parents will probably tell you, “mind your own business. it’s not your problem.” This film has made me realized how selfish and somewhat cruel the Asian society is. Kids need to be protected from harm and abuse. This movie was like a wake up call. People need to speak out when they witness an injustice even when it’s not happening to themselves.
