PHENOMENAL! Really went to town with the special effects and imagination. Love the fiction v fact switching and the SciFi v documentary... really special and can't wait for the next series. You'll learn a lot on earth whilst opening your mind when transported to exoplanets with some fascinating notions and conjured species. Brilliant viewing; I bought a Netflix voucher for my family to enable them to share the experience. A must-see if you enjoy nature, astronomy, eco systems, SciFi etc.

WOW! It's still with me... it was genius... unique and just what I needed to take a brain break. The performances were spot on and the set / production / directing alluring. I knew one minute in to the film that I'd be glued and I'm a VERY picky film watcher. The mermaid was so well depicted, the fog horn gave a haunting continuity and Pattison and Dafoe were at their best. Amidst the eerie and gripping scenes were some humorous moments and Robert acted out one of the funniest drunken scenes I've EVER seen. Congrats to all involved. Could not have been an easy one for anyone and it sure did deliver.

yes, Yes, YES! Perfect Sat night film when you fancy going out but not out, out! I put off viewing as thought it may be a bit childish with the shark character addition and all but it was spot on. Unusual characters who were both designed and acted out perfectly, the sound effects were some of the best I've ever heard in a film, so apt, it was fast paced but not too 'in your face' and had a good enough link to the nostalgia of the original yet not so much that you'd be confused if you hadn't seen the first one. The acting was fantastic, particularly Robbie and Elba. Fight scenes were magnificent, they are both in great shape and fully embodied their characters. Finally, it was HILARIOUS... Lol. May watch again. Enjoy this merry-go-round of a movie!
