This was a really fantastic movie that showed you rather than told you its story. I saw the plot more in the cinematography and scenes rather than in the dialogue or character development. I get the sense that a lot of the negative reviews are because some people completely missed the point. I’m not sure this was a movie about America or politics as some negative reviews below seem to think as I interpreted it as a moving depiction of the grotesque violence of war, the way ordinary life tries to move on around it, and the way embedded journalists cope with putting themselves in danger to give us the opportunity to form our own conclusions. Then, how it all goes full circle around again. The literally linear plot composed of vignettes was really amazing to me. I highly recommend.
