I love watching this show and seeing how properties can be transformed from drab to fab by this superb team. When an episode doesn't conclude with a sale, I often wonder if it eventually did sell and if there could be a programme revisiting the houses, asking the new owners what worked with the makeovers and what they've changed or added to it. Each series could have just one programme covering all the episodes. The Blue Mountains house would be a particularly sad revisit as I believe it was burnt down in a bush fire, which would've been devastating for the team after all their hard work. I'm sure there would be a lot of interest in a follow up programme of this nature.

I found the paranoia evident with both the Russians and the Americans intriguing. The lengths both sides were prepared to go to protect their ideologies and maintain their political stance was compelling viewing. It shows how ordinary people can not only get caught up in something beyond their control, but how the people doing the controlling get caught up in their own rhetoric until the whole thing spirals totally out of control.

At the end of the series there are a number of loose ends which suggests there may need to be another series. Kim, the boyfriend with the little girl is partially obscured in a car, looking grimly at Mari and asking someone what he wants him to do, so he's a plant. I assume the explosion killed the other two police officers? What happened about the bag of money? Why was a medal awarded to the cop? It all seemed to go a bit awry in the last two episodes, bad editing?
